ILLU 320 Cartooning This course introduces different aspects and basic techniques of cartoon drawing, emphasizing clear, efficient visual storytelling, the art of composition, and establishing character and environment. Instruction includes the historical study of various types of cartoons (both from print and animation). Styles of cartoons, thematic types, narrative structures, and construction of cartoon characters are analyzed and explored.
